SUNDAY, MARCH 13TH, 1 - 4 PM Catalogue preview pictures are posted on our facebook site. Catalogues are available in a very limited edition for $15 each at the museum. Raffle tickets are available only during the opening reception this Sunday. We will be raffling 3 paintings donated by current K&K members Sue Ecclestone, Emilia Perri and Jane Richmond as well as the one-of-a-kind handbound book filled with 9 original works. Pictures of other handbound K&K books are on facebook, too. To see the raffle edition, come to the reception! Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. Nice. |

SUNDAY, MARCH 13TH, 1 - 4 PM is the date for the opening reception of "Celebrations" our 20th Anniversary Show at the Dufferin County Museum and Archives. Mark your calendars and please join us for the party, the art, the snacks and the raffle. Walk away with work of art. Is there a better way to celebrate the return of spring? |

We finished the handbound books! With the help and tireless encouragement of the amazing Rita Reitsma, we have completed all the handmade books for the upcoming show. Every member donated 8.5 x 11" original works and we have created artist's books. These are unique, handbound works of art. One will be raffled at the opening reception of the "Celebrations" 20th Anniversary Show at the Dufferin County Museum and Archives on Sunday March 13th, one will be given to the DCMA and each member will have one to keep to commemorate this show. All eleven books will be on display for the run of the show (March 13th - May 1), but if you want to get in on the raffle, be there for the opening reception. All proceeds from the raffle go to the Reed T. Cooper Bursary Fund. Reed was a founding member of the Kame & Kettle Artists. |
| November 2010 / Celebration: The Kame & Kettle Artists Anniversary Show |
We are very excited to announce that we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary with a show at the Dufferin County Museum and Archives March thru May 2011. We are deep in preparations, creating new works for both the show and for the hand bound book of original works which we will raffle off during the show. Each artist currently a member of the Kame & Kettle Artists will contribute one work on paper, to be bound into the handmade book. The proceeds from the raffle of this unique artwork will go to the Reed T. Cooper Bursary Fund. |
