Artist's Statement
I work in acrylic and collage on canvas or board, experimenting with geometric and organic shapes, aiming to achieve satisfactory compositions which express an idea, memory or proposition. I generally restrict myself to a palette of three colours, but allow myself to be as free with the chosen colours as possible. I also explore the nature of words and symbols, utilizing both in my paintings, to test the role of visual images in creating and communicating meaning. top
